It can begin with repurposing off-line marketing materials, but it flourishes by creating fresh, content relevant to your business. A great content strategy works hard to produce a fluid interaction between your vision and your customer’s values.

I listen carefully to clients to understand their needs, and work collaboratively to achieve harmony between creative and operational aims. I’ve created sparkling copy and developed content strategies for large companies, mom and pop businesses, marketing and PR agencies, and individuals.

 

Developing content requires understanding the language of different disciplines. I liaise with internal management and external PR, marketing and SEO consultancies, and co-ordinate writers, photographers, videographers, website designers, and programmers.

 

Into the mix goes figuring out which social channels will work best, and analysing visitor numbers, adjusting and tweaking to optimize the content delivery.

Skills

Writing: I’ve been writing since forever. I’ve written interviews, features, blogs, PowerPoint decks, promo video scripts, whole websites, partial websites, white papers, banner ads, social media posts, product descriptions, brochures, case studies, press releases, guides, news articles, and interactive games.

 

Managing: Co-ordinating writers (and editing written work), photographers, videographers, web designers, animators, graphic designers, social media and SEO experts. Liaising with marketing departments, business teams, secretaries, venue owners, press, and external agencies.

 

Strategy: Content planning for websites, editing content, monitoring effectiveness of content and tweaking where needed, evaluating seo, budgeting cost of content.
